Summary
In a certain town, a young soldier lived. Before going off to war, he felt that he needed "something special." He thought, "I will look for a talisman that has magical powers!"
The soldier set off on his journey and encountered many strange characters. Sometimes he felt anxiety and fear, but he held on to his goal of obtaining the talisman.
One day, the soldier met an old woman. She kindly said, "Young man, in order to obtain the talisman, you must do good deeds." The soldier was surprised and asked, "Good deeds? What does that mean?"
The old woman smiled and said, "Help others. The more you help, the more fortune will come to you." The soldier resolved, "I understand! I can help others!"
As he continued his journey, he saw farmers in trouble and sick children. He reached out and offered assistance, saying, "Are you okay? I will help you!"
Throughout this, he began to realize that his actions were gradually making him happy. "This is truly strange! Doing good deeds brings me fortune!" he thought.
Finally, the soldier was able to obtain the talisman. He joyfully exclaimed, "This is my talisman!" but he understood that his actions were what truly mattered. "The power of the talisman is far less important than my good deeds!"
He chose not to use the talisman and believed in his own actions. "From now on, I swear to live while valuing my connections with others!"
Thus, his life transformed into one of happiness.
