Summary
In a small village, there lived a kind-hearted girl named Little Aida. Aida especially loved wildflowers and would always pick them to adorn her hair or display them in her home. Surrounding her was a beautiful flower field, and playing among the flowers was her daily joy.
One day, while walking and picking flowers as usual, Aida exclaimed, "What a rare sight!" Before her appeared the spirits of the flowers. One of the spirits said, "Aida, I’m moved by your kindness. I will give you a special gift."
With her eyes sparkling, Aida asked, "Really?" The spirits smiled and said, "The flowers you love will give you a special color and fragrance just for you. Now, please use those flowers to share joy with the people of the village."
Overjoyed, Aida brought the flowers back and scattered them among the villagers. "Everyone, look at this! My flowers are special!" The villagers were delighted and expressed their gratitude, saying, "Thank you, Aida!"
However, Aida gradually took pleasure in her beauty and special power, becoming possessive and thinking, "These are my flowers!" Jealousy and arrogance began to sprout deep within her heart.
At that moment, the spirits appeared and said, "Aida, we will take back that gift. As long as you possess the heart to keep it all to yourself, the flowers will return to their ordinary colors and fragrances."
In shock, Aida exclaimed, "What? My flowers will disappear!" Tears fell from her eyes. Realizing the value of the lost flowers, Aida reflected on her heart. "I must share with others."
She then changed her heart and shouted, "I want to once again share happiness with others!" The spirits smiled and said, "If you open your heart, we will give you special flowers again."
Aida joyfully enjoyed the flowers with the villagers, saying, "Flowers are things to be shared with everyone!" She learned that true happiness comes from a heart that cares for others.
Thus, Aida grew and matured.
