Summary
A Mysterious Kindness
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a kind and chatty old woman. She was a source of constant smiles for the villagers. One day, she decided to bring good fortune to the villagers using a special flower she had grown in her garden.
The old woman began distributing flowers in the village square. "Please take this! Good things will happen if you have this flower!" she cheerfully called out. At first, the villagers were happy and took the flowers one after another. However, soon the men of the village noticed something odd about the old woman's gaze as she handed out the flowers. With a sly smile, she said, "Your goodwill is appreciated, but your true intentions are terrifying," and the villagers began to feel a bit uneasy.
Before long, strange occurrences started happening in the village. Those who received flowers found themselves repeatedly visiting the old woman's house to enjoy delicious meals and cheerful conversations. It seemed that possessing the flower destined them to be invited to her home. While it initially seemed enjoyable, they soon began to sense the malevolence lurking behind the old woman's "kindness."
In an effort to overcome this situation, a wise villager came up with a plan. "Let's grow our own flowers and show them off to the old woman," he suggested. The villagers worked together to cultivate flowers and arranged a splendid bouquet to take to the old woman's house. When they presented it to her, the old woman was taken aback and burst into laughter. "Oh my! What beautiful flowers! They're much prettier than mine!" she exclaimed, touched by their gesture.
From that day on, the villagers accepted the old woman's kindness sincerely, and they could understand her true intentions. As the whole village was filled with laughter, a playful farce began to dispel their unease, and everyone shared a joyous moment together.
