Summary
A Flower on a Withered Tree
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived an old woman named "Take, the Withered Tree." She was once known for blooming beautiful flowers, but over the years, she lost her strength and became like a dead tree. The villagers abandoned Take, forgetting her past glory.
However, one day, a wise man who visited the village noticed Take's presence. He listened to her story and sensed that there was still life within the withered tree. The wise man encouraged Take to believe in the hidden power within her. Gradually, Take began to regain her confidence and started to strive to remember her former self.
As time passed, Take magnificently bloomed flowers. Her beauty once again amazed the village, but the villagers began to envy her glory. They referred to her as "a flower on a withered tree," comparing her to the splendor she once had and uttered words of disdain toward her. They highlighted her past to justify their indifference and belittled her current state.
Take was pained by this trend, but she recalled the words of the wise man: "It is natural for a flower to bloom on a withered tree, and everyone has that potential." She decided to accept who she is now and to continue blooming flowers for the sake of the village. Ultimately, the villagers recognized her talents and integrity, and they began to respect Take. The entire village learned that it is, indeed, the strength of her heart and will that allows a withered tree to bloom.
