Summary
A princess accidentally dropped her golden ball into a pond and was heartbroken. At that moment, a frog appeared and asked the princess to be friends in exchange for retrieving the ball. Reluctantly, the princess agreed, and the frog retrieved the ball. However, the princess was reluctant to accept the frog as her friend and left him behind on her way back to the palace.
Later, the frog visited the princess and asked her to keep her promise. The princess reluctantly invited the frog into the palace, but she felt a strong aversion to dining with him. Nevertheless, the frog continued to show kindness to the princess.
One night, when the princess threw the frog in an attempt to make him fulfill his promise, the spell was broken, revealing him to be a beautiful prince. The princess’s heartfelt sincerity and friendship saved the prince. The prince thanked the princess, and they married each other.
The moral of this story is that one should not judge others based on appearances or first impressions. True beauty and value lie within, demonstrating that compassion and sincerity towards others are the most important qualities. It also emphasizes the importance of keeping promises and having the courage to accept others even in difficult situations. In human relationships, true bonds are formed through mutual understanding.
