Summary
Once upon a time, in a certain kingdom, a beautiful princess was born. To celebrate her birth, fairies from all over the country were invited, but one fairy was not invited, and she placed a curse on the princess, bringing her misfortune. She proclaimed, "On her 15th birthday, she will prick her finger and die." However, another fairy softened the curse, stating that instead of dying, she would fall into a deep sleep for 100 years, and she would awaken with a kiss of true love.
The kingdom, fearing this curse, decided to remove all spindles, but on her 15th birthday, the princess accidentally pricked her finger. She fell into a deep slumber, and the kingdom fell asleep with her. After a long period of time, the kingdom was forgotten, and a thorny bush surrounded it.
One day, a young man from a distant land encountered the thicket and heard the legend of the "Sleeping Beauty." He bravely pushed through the thorns and found the princess. Struck by her beauty, he kissed her. Then the princess awoke, and the kingdom awakened as well. The prince and princess married and lived happily ever after.
The lesson of this story is about the difficulty of defying fate and the importance of having the courage to face it. It also shows that the power of true love can overcome hardships across time. It conveys that love is the most important value for children, and it brings hope as well.
