Summary

The Mysterious Adventure of the Jockey and the Horse

One day, a boy named Takeshi, who lived in a small village, dreamed of becoming the world's best jockey. He trained hard with the village horse, Suzuki, and participated in many races. However, Takeshi struggled to achieve victory, and the villagers began to doubt his skills. The voices of the villagers echoed in his ears, saying, "If the jockey is not useful, it's the horse's fault."

One night, Takeshi thought, "I'm tired of being blamed for Suzuki," and decided to go to the forest to retrieve the village's treasure, the "Lucky Stone." According to legend, possessing this stone would guarantee victory in any race. Takeshi searched diligently for the stone and eventually found the location. However, there was a gigantic snake waiting there.

Takeshi cautiously approached the snake and asked how he could take the stone. The snake replied, "Without your strength, the horse cannot survive. Sharpen your own skills." Takeshi was taken aback by those words and decided to confront his responsibilities. He returned to the village and, together with Suzuki, continued to train and improve his skills as a jockey.

Several weeks later, Takeshi confidently entered a race. He achieved a magnificent victory. The villagers praised his growth, and now Takeshi and Suzuki were known as the "best duo." He acknowledged his own abilities, and Suzuki also struggled to win alongside him. Although there were times when it was said, "If the jockey is not useful, it's the horse's fault," he accepted that responsibility and, by working together, managed to attain true victory.
