Summary
Volume 1: Peldi Street Station
Bas-Rag's capital, Lerrow, is a massive city where different races coexist, and steam engines and bio-machines are integrated into daily life. The protagonist, Dr. Imuel Ragger, is a renowned scientist at the "Oromoyan Research Institute," where he conducts research on fused aberrant life forms and machinery. His passion is directed towards an experimental project aiming for coexistence between humans and non-humans.
One day, Dr. Imuel accidentally completes a machine that reproduces the fearsome entity "La Valéan." This machine behaves like a living creature and has uncontrollable power. Due to La Valéan's rampage, the research institute is destroyed, and many lives are lost. Forced to flee, Imuel hides in Lerrow's underworld to evade pursuers.

Volume 2: Skull
After the chaos of Peldi Street Station, Bas-Rag faces further crisis. A mysterious sea region called "Skull" appears, bringing frequent unknown creatures and natural phenomena. This Skull harbors powerful forces sealed since ancient times, which begin to affect all of Bas-Rag.
The protagonist, Shiva Arandel, is the captain leading the legendary floating city "Arard." She dispatches an elite team on a survey vessel to uncover the Skull's secrets and eliminate its threats. The crew of Arard, comprising diverse races and technologies, venture deep into the Skull.
During the voyage, they encounter numerous trials: encounters with bizarre marine creatures, unraveling mysterious phenomena, and internal trust and betrayal. Upon reaching the Skull's center, Shiva is drawn into a fierce battle over the ancient legacy left by Bas-Rag's civilizations and its power. The protagonist, Ryan Veil, once a rebel but now a leader organizing opposition within the Iron Council. His aim is to rebuild Bas-Rag and establish a new society where all races coexist equally. However, the path is fraught with betrayal and conspiracies, and Ryan struggles between his beliefs and reality.
The story depicts Ryan and his comrades unveiling the Iron Council's conspiracies to bring fundamental transformation to Bas-Rag.
