Summary
One day, Taro, a carpenter living in a small village, noticed that there was a strange power residing in the walls of his house. After finishing work and returning home, Taro was always completely exhausted. However, that day was different. When he casually touched the wall, it spoke to him, saying, "Thank you for your hard work, Taro!" Surprised, Taro rubbed his eyes and listened closely.
The wall continued, "I know you work hard every day. Why don’t you relax more and have some fun?" Taro was moved by these words and decided to paint, which was his hobby, after finishing his work. Then the wall said, "I want to join in the fun too!" and began to assist Taro with his task.
As Taro painted, the wall observed and offered humorous advice. Sometimes it pointed out, "That color is a bit too flashy; try changing it to a calmer blue!" and at other times, it suggested, "If you add a smile to that character, it will be even more enjoyable!" With the help of the wall, Taro completed a magnificent piece that amazed the villagers.
The villagers visited Taro's house and laughed as they saw the wall supporting him. Taro realized that even the walls of his house were there to help him. He once again engraved in his heart that "Home is an important place that supports me," and began to look forward to returning home every day. Thus, Taro's house became known throughout the village as a place that told a delightful story.
