Summary

Two Hearts, One Body

In a certain village, there lived a young man named Takumi. Takumi was a kind-hearted young man who could show compassion to anyone. However, he had one worry: there were two wishes existing within his heart. One was to "hone his skills as a carpenter," while the other was to "journey as an adventurer."

One day, Takumi found a mysterious book in an old bookstore. The book contained "methods to fulfill the wishes within the heart." Excitedly flipping through the pages, he came upon a spell that stated, "You can divide your wishes into two." He quickly recited the spell, separating the two wishes in his heart into two distinct entities.

Then, before Takumi's eyes, two versions of himself appeared. One took the form of a carpenter, while the other became an adventurer. Each of them began to pursue their own wishes, but Takumi was soon astonished. Their actions interfered with each other; sometimes they cooperated, and other times they clashed. Although their hearts were separate, their bodies remained one.

Gradually, Takumi realized that he could not choose either dream and was tormented by his inability to take action. Determined to find true happiness, he resolved to unite his heart once more. Understanding the meaning of the phrase "two hearts, one body," he began searching for a path to unify his desires. When he became one again, he started to believe that he could attain both a true adventure and wonderful creations together.
