Summary
The End of Joy and the Beginning of Nightmares
In a small village, there lived a young man named Luka. Loved by the villagers, he was always in search of fun and filled each day with laughter. Particularly, his creation, the "Festival of Fun," was the most exciting event in the village, and the villagers praised him from the bottom of their hearts. However, the "Day of Sorrow," which inevitably followed the festival, cast a shadow on Luka's heart.
As preparations for the festival progressed, Luka pursued his enjoyment further. For this festival, he devised a grand plan unlike any before, aiming to astonish the villagers. Expensive fireworks, large stalls, and the invitation of famous acrobats—all of it was to unite the villagers’ hearts. Luka had no doubt that he could create infinite joy with his own hands.
As the day of the festival arrived, the entire village was enveloped in a celebratory atmosphere. People were filled with smiles, and Luka's plans turned out to be a great success. However, with the end of the festival, the village fell into silence. When the joy faded, Luka felt a gaping hole open in the hearts of the villagers, realizing how fragile the happiness he had created with his own hands truly was. The proverb "When joy ends, sorrow comes" resonated deeply with him.
Luka vowed to prepare for the next festival, but his heart felt empty. The villagers also noticed that Luka's face was no longer visible, and they became worried about him. The sorrow that follows the end of joy cannot simply be healed by waiting. Luka realized that pursuing new joy ultimately led to new sorrow. It was a moment of understanding that joy and sorrow are two sides of the same coin. What the villagers truly sought was not continuous enjoyment but sharing and supporting one another in their daily lives.
