Summary
The More You Eat, the More Hungry You Get
One day, a boy named Takeru, who lived in a small village, was known as the biggest foodie in the village. He was always thinking about food. "If there's a lot of rice, I want to eat more and more!" he would always say. The villagers were amazed by Takeru's appetite, yet they found it somewhat endearing.
According to the village legend, there was a magical turtle that possessed a mountain of food. It was said that eating a special peach would grant you infinite appetite. Upon hearing this story, Takeru immediately decided to go search for the turtle. "If I get this peach, I'll be able to eat even more delicious food!" The more he thought about it, the more his appetite grew.
Takeru wandered through the forest and finally found the turtle. The turtle smiled and asked, "What kind of food do you like?" Takeru replied that he liked meat, fish, vegetables, fruit—anything. The turtle gently smiled and warned, "If you eat this peach, your appetite will become infinite, but it will also come with regret." However, Takeru ignored the words and decided to take a bite of the peach.
The moment he tasted the peach, a feeling of happiness washed over him, as if his hunger was being satisfied. However, soon after, he felt his appetite increasing uncontrollably. No matter what he ate, he wanted more and more delicious things. In the end, Takeru devoured all the food in the village, and the villagers began to fear him as a troublesome presence. Thus, Takeru finally learned firsthand what it meant that "the more you eat, the more hungry you get."
