Summary
The Folly of Monkey Wisdom
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a show-off monkey named Sarta. Sarta loved to flaunt his wisdom to the villagers, but he always ended up making big mistakes. One day, he proposed to hold a "wisdom contest" in the village square. Intrigued by the idea, the villagers decided to challenge Sarta in a lively atmosphere.
Sarta was desperate to use his wisdom as a weapon to defeat the villagers. That day, he boasted and presented a "difficult question even a monkey could solve." He boldly declared, "Come on, is there anyone who can answer me?" However, the difficult question he posed was actually simple, which ended up testing the villagers' wisdom instead. The villagers outsmarted Sarta and successfully solved all the problems.
Sarta made excuses, saying, "I'm a monkey, so I couldn't possibly win against you," but deep down, he was satisfied, thinking, "This is the greatest wisdom." However, the villagers laughed at his so-called "wisdom," and in the end, Sarta was made to realize his own foolishness. His monkey wisdom, instead of being impressive, became a source of embarrassment for him.
In this way, Sarta became the laughingstock of the village and learned the folly of overestimating his "wisdom." From then on, the villagers began to tease Sarta using the term "monkey wisdom," and through laughter together, they continued to experience the thin line between wisdom and foolishness. Gradually, Sarta began to cultivate some humility. However, every time the villagers called him "monkey," a dark humor continued to flicker in their hearts.
